If you have been affected by certain lawsuits or company data breaches, you could be owed money—sometimes even thousands of dollars. Right now, there are several settlements available that Americans can still claim before 2025 ends. Some payouts are small, but others could be as high as $10,150. The key is knowing what each settlement covers, who qualifies, and the deadline for filing.

Below are five major agreements that you might be able to take advantage of before time runs out.

Cash app settlement explained

Cash App has agreed to pay out $12.5 million to settle claims over unsolicited texts. If you ever received a Cash App referral message between November 14, 2019, and August 7, 2025, you may qualify.

Payouts are estimated between $88 and $147 depending on how many people apply. Example of the kind of text message: “Hey! I have been using Cash App to send money and spend using the Cash Card. Try it using my code and you will get $5.” You need to file your claim by October 27, 2025.

If you think you got one of these texts, it is worth checking.

How much can you get from the AT&T settlement

AT&T has agreed to pay $177 million after two separate data breaches exposed personal information. Millions of current and former account holders were affected. Here is a breakdow of what you need to know:

  • If your data was leaked in the March 2024 breach, you may qualify for up to $5,000.
  • If you were affected in the July 2024 breach, you may qualify for another $2,500.
  • That means some people could get as much as $7,500 if they were hit by both leaks.
  • The deadline to file a claim is November 18, 2025.

This is one of the largest payouts currently available, so it is definitely worth checking if you are an AT&T customer or former customer.

What to know about the real estate commission settlement

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) agreed to a massive $418 million settlement over claims that real estate commissions were kept unfairly high. This settlement could change how much both buyers and sellers pay in commission fees.

Commission rates may drop by 1% to 2%, saving thousands of dollars in some cases. On a $300,000 home, that could mean saving $3,000 to $6,000. This agreement is especially important if you are planning to buy or sell a home before the end of 2025.

Even though this is not a direct check like the others, it is a real cost-saving opportunity for homeowners and future buyers.

Who qualifies for the Fashion Nova settlement

Fashion Nova has agreed to pay out $5.15 million in a lawsuit that claimed its website was not accessible to blind customers using screen-reading technology. Here is what you need to know:

  • Only legally blind individuals living in California are eligible.
  • Each person who qualifies could get up to $4,000.
  • The deadline to file a claim is October 20, 2025.

If you or someone you know has had difficulty accessing Fashion Nova’s website because of vision impairment, this settlement may apply.

Panera bread settlement details

Panera Bread agreed to pay $2.5 million following a data breach in March 2024. If you were notified by Panera about the issue, you may qualify.

You can claim up to $500 for ordinary expenses such as credit monitoring and if you experienced identity theft or other major losses, you can claim up to $6,500. The deadline to file your claim is November 11, 2025.

This settlement could help you recover from costs related to the breach, especially if your personal information was stolen.

Eyemed settlement could mean big payouts

EyeMed Vision Care also faced a lawsuit after a June 2020 data breach. The company agreed to pay $5 million in total.

Those who were affected can claim up to $10,000 for documented out-of-pocket expenses. You can also receive up to $100 for the time you spent dealing with the issue.

If you received a notice from EyeMed about the breach, you should definitely look into filing a claim.
