WalletHub, a very well-known personal finance website, released a detailed survey recently to highlight which American cities are most convenient for couples to get married in. The survey compared over 180 cities across the country and weighed three top categories: costs, services/facilities, and entertainment/attractions. The study helped couples make informed decisions about where they should conduct their wedding because it is once in a lifetime and leaves long-lasting memories.

Methodology of the study

WalletHub research considered 26 important wedding planning factors including average wedding expense, availability of event facilities and location, and availability of wedding services like photographers, videographers, disc jockeys, and florists. WalletHub research also evaluated such factors as availability and cost of hotels and popularity as a vacation destination in general of each city. Based on these rankings, WalletHub arrived at a comprehensive list of the most suitable and unsuitable cities to marry in throughout America.

Orlando, Florida: The best wedding city

Orlando, Florida, was the top wedding city in 2025 according to WalletHub’s report. The city ranks high because of its high level of wedding venues and services. Orlando has high levels of venues, videographers, DJs, and flower shops per capita, which makes it the ideal destination for couples who need a lot of choices for their wedding.

Orlando’s benefits

  • Easy access: As Orlando is located at a strategic place and well connected with transport hubs such as Orlando International Airport, it is very accessible for the tourists from proximate and distant places.
  • Perfect weather: With more than 230 sun days annually, Orlando possesses an optimal weather condition ideal for open-air weddings round the clock throughout the year.
  • Affordable lodging: The state has the second-per-capita number of hotels in the country and has similarly affordable three-star lodging for this giant city.

Other of the top wedding cities

Following Orlando’s first-place win, some other cities ranked well in WalletHub’s study:

  • Las Vegas, Nevada: With its glitzy amenities and activities, Las Vegas placed overall in second but not economically.
  • Miami, Florida: Miami topped the services and facilities category with an eclectically composed mix of wedding service businesses and higher-order restaurants.
  • Atlanta, Georgia: Atlanta finished fourth with mixed competition and an eclectically composed set of wedding services.
  • Tampa, Florida: Tampa finished fifth with a mixture of location and price point.

WalletHub’s study indicates that it is critical to study various factors when choosing a wedding location. The coming together of convenience, affordability, and availability of wedding services in Orlando makes it the top destination in ranking one. With wedding planning becoming a whole-stimulating matter for couples, getting to know the strengths of different cities will help them make appropriate decisions and have a cozy and stress-free experience.
