A celebration of partnership

This deal commemorates the first anniversary of Burger King and Walmart+ partnering, which began last summer. As a thank you to their loyal customers, they’re offering a free week of Whoppers for it.

This promotion only includes the original Whopper. Specialty Whoppers like the BBQ Brisket Whopper aren’t.

Who can get this deal

You must be:

  • A Walmart+ member.
  • Become a Burger King Royal Perks member.

Link both accounts before redeeming the offer.

The offer is only for active members, so if you haven’t signed up yet, you’ll have to sign up for both programs in advance.

How to link your accounts

Here’s how you can link your Walmart+ and Burger King accounts step by step:

  • Download the Burger King app and log in.
  • Log into your Walmart+ account (either through the Walmart+ app or at plus.walmart.com).

Navigate to the Account section, then select Walmart+ Membership, and finally choose the Burger King savings benefit.

  • Tap Start — this will open the Burger King app.
  • Select Link Accounts to finish the process.
  • Once your accounts are linked, you’ll be able to claim your free Whopper offer every day during the promotion period.

How to redeem your free whopper

After your accounts are linked:

  • Make a purchase of at least $1 in-store or online.
  • Unlock the offer daily in the “Offers” section of the Burger King app or website.
  • When ordering up for grabs in-store, present your six-digit “My Code” at the register.
  • When you order online or through the app, enter the code in checkout to get the free Whopper.
  • Daily, a new six-digit code will be available and you must unlock the offer daily if you want to redeem it.

Rules you should know

Before you leave, be sure to remember these facts:

  • One Whopper per day per check — no doubling.
  • The offer is not valid during breakfast hours (times may differ by location).
  • Not for delivery — pick-up or in-store orders only.
  • Cannot be used with other promotions.
  • Good only through August 11.

Why this deal is a win for customers

Burger King’s Whopper has been a fan favourite for decades, and with food prices on the rise, a week’s supply of free burgers is a nice treat. The partnership with Walmart+ is a means of giving loyal customers to both companies a reward while encouraging more sign-ups to their membership sites.

This partnership is a winning move: Walmart+ members receive a tasty treat, Burger King gains more Royal Perks sign-ups, and customers leave happy with full stomachs.
