Cava to open more than 60 restaurants by 2025 across the U.S. – Here is the full list of new locations already open

The Mediterranean fast-casual chain continues rapid U.S. expansion with dozens of new restaurant openings already underway.

More than 60 additional restaurants are to be opened by the company in 2025 after opening 58 new locations in 2024.

The company operates in 26 states and in the District of Columbia, which ended 2024 with 367 Cava restaurants. The company is aiming for 1,000 locations nationwide by the year 2032, as it relayed its plans to USA TODAY.

Cava’s most recent growth initiatives also include getting into new markets in South Florida and Indianapolis. And also plans for more openings in Detroit and Pittsburgh are scheduled for later in 2025. Just in time for its Midwestern expansion, Cava confirmed its intention to open another urban location at Indianapolis in a March 14 news release.

While the chain is well-known for serving Mediterranean bowls, pitas, dips and dressings, it has won admirers for fresh, customizable meals.

Locations already open in 2025

Cava has already opened several restaurants in the first few months of 2025. Here’s a list of new locations now serving customers:

  • Chelmsford, MA – 40 Drum Hill Road – Opened Feb. 21
  • Union, NJ – 1235 W. Chestnut St., Suite G – Opened Feb. 28
  • Palm Harbor, FL – 33163 US Hwy 19 N. – Opened March 6
  • Lafayette, LA – 4220 Ambassador Caffery Parkway – Opened March 14
  • Fishers, IN – 11594 Whistle Drive, Suite 150 – Opened March 14
  • New York, NY – 1535 3rd Ave – Opened March 21
  • New Orleans, LA – 5001 Freret St – Opened April 4
