Let’s talk about something fantastic—literally. Taco Bell has a big announcement in the works about its menu that could change the drink you get with your tacos this summer. If you’re one of the millions who visit Taco Bell every day, this new information is something you’ll want to hear.

What’s New on the Menu?

Taco Bell is introducing six new drinks nationwide. They’re not usual sodas and lemonades. They’re fruit-infused mocktails called “refrescas,” and they come in a range of styles—from energy drinks to ice drinks.

What’s new is:

1. Agua Refrescas – $3.99 (20oz)

They are infused, light drinks mixed with real freeze-dried chunks of fruit and green tea. They do have artificial coloring and a hint of real juice (less than 1%).

Flavors:

  •  Strawberry Passionfruit
  •  Dragonfruit Berry
  •  Mango Peach

All three are here to stay. Taco Bell tested them out in SoCal in 2024, and they ate them up.

2. Rockstar Energy Refrescas – $4.49 (20oz)

They’re a bender with 200mg of caffeine, specially designed for Taco Bell. They don’t contain any juice whatsoever—just artificial and natural fruity flavor.

Flavors:

  •  Pineapple Lime
  •  Tropical Punch

Note: Only for adults. Not meant for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or caffeine-sensitive people.

3. Refresca Freeze – $3.79 (16oz) / $3.99 (20oz)

Slushy with fruit pieces! This slushy beverage is full of flavor and perfect for warm summer days.

Flavor:

 Strawberry Lime

Where you’ll find them

You can find the drinks at participating Taco Bell locations across the country. They’re a bit more or less depending on where you’re at, and they’re while supplies last, only—so don’t procrastinate if you want to give them a shot.

If you’re in California or Texas, get excited. Taco Bell is planning to launch 30 more “Live Más Cafés” in these states. These are special stores focused on fancy drinks, where staff known as “Bellristas” whip up your order. Think of them like Taco Bell’s version of a coffee shop—with tacos on the side.

Why this change matters

Taco Bell has 2 billion customers yearly and over 8,000 restaurants across the country. The company says the new drinks are all part of an overall goal to reach $5 billion in sales for drinks by 2030.

They know that an increasing number of young adults are looking for fun, tasty, and stimulating beverages. You no longer have to make a special trip out of the way to a fancy coffee or smoothie shop to get one.
