  • The oldest and largest Mexican Independence Day parade in the nation
  • Grand Marshal position held by José M. Hernández, Mexican-American NASA astronaut
  • Paraded along E. Cesar E. Chavez Avenue with charros on horseback, antique cars, dance teams, and elected officials.
  • Post-parade Fiestas Patrias festival on Mednik Avenue between Chavez and First Street will host food vendors, artisan booths, and entertainment for kids.

Miami: Grito & Fiesta Celebrations (No Major Street Parade)

Miami does not have a large public street parade. Instead, civic ceremonies and festive gatherings are organized by the Mexican Consulate and an array of local establishments:
