When did early voting start in each state in the US 2024 presidential election

In the 2024 presidential election a large number of voters were eager to cast their votes for their favorite candidates and elected to use early voting where possible.

Early voting was available in many states, each with their own designated dates, which allowed citizens to cast their ballot in person at the polling unit before the election, held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Some states also allowed absentee ballots to be cast.

46 states—including the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands—allowed early in-person voting to all voters (including states with all-mail elections). Alabama, Delaware, Mississippi, and New Hampshire did not offer in-person voting, although they did have some optional eligibility for absentee voters.
