Raising Cane’s, the fast-casual chicken finger favorite, is adding to its presence across the United States with seven new stores scheduled to open by October 2025. Its streamlined menu with quality chicken fingers, Cane’s is continuing its rapid growth, aiming to expand both in old and new markets. Following is a closer look at where and when fans can grab their favorite “Box Combo.”
Milford, Connecticut – Oct. 2, 2025
The earliest of the October openings came to Milford, Connecticut, at 1455 Boston Post Road. The new location is Raising Cane’s 12th in Connecticut, affirming the chain’s stronghold in New England, where its sales have accelerated in recent years. The restaurant in Milford has dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery capabilities, and boasts the brand’s classic bright yellow-and-red interior decor, complete with community-driven artwork.
Dover, Delaware – Oct. 7, 2025
Five days after that, shoppers in Dover, Delaware will welcome Cane’s at 1151 North Dupont Highway. The second Raising Cane’s for the Dover market is intended to meet the needs of local residents and travelers on the active Dupont corridor. The restaurant has a greater parking space and two-lane drive-thru for convenient service during peak lunch and dinner hours.
Athens, Ohio – Oct. 7, 2025
On the same day, the chain will debut its first store in Athens, Ohio, located at 63 South Court Street. This college community boasts a massive student base due to Ohio University, a strategic target market for Raising Cane’s, which is well-known for operating late at night and having affordable prices. The Athens location features late-night hours and study tables so that it can be a destination point for students and families alike.
Miramar, Florida – Oct. 21, 2025
Raising Cane’s comes back to Florida with a new Miramar restaurant at 17195 Miramar Parkway. Opening October 21, the restaurant is part of Cane’s rapid Florida expansion, which has opened over 30 in the state in the last two years. The Miramar restaurant features outdoor patio dining—a nod to Florida’s year-round warm weather—and will feature a grand opening day with giveaways and specials for the first 100 to arrive.
Washington, D.C. – Oct. 21, 2025
Also opening October 21 is the ninth Washington, DC, located at 722 7th Street NW, near Mount Vernon Square. The city site again aligns with Raising Cane’s focus on high-traffic, in-city sites and will serve office workers, tourists, and urban residents in the city center of the capital. Featuring a modern, city-themed design and touch-screen ordering kiosks, the DC restaurant will deliver quick service to its multicultural customer base.
Forest Hills, New York – Oct. 22, 2025
The following day, Cane’s will debut in Queens, New York, at 70-28 Austin Street in Forest Hills. The new restaurant is the first Raising Cane’s in western Queens, where a long-standing need for fast-casual chicken has been absent. The Forest Hills restaurant features bilingual signage (English and Spanish), representative of the diversity of the community, as well as contactless pick-up lockers for mobile order customers.
Manchester, Connecticut – Oct. 28, 2025
Finally, Raising Cane’s finishes out its Connecticut launch in October with a second location in Manchester, at 75 Buckland Street. Proximity to big retail attractions and Interstate 384 will make the restaurant a regional hub for chicken finger enthusiasts in Hartford County. The Manchester restaurant offers community event space and will partner with local charities to hold “Cane’s Nights,” fundraising nights for these organizations.
Strategic growth and community impact
Every new Raising Cane’s reinforces the brand’s strategic emphasis on market penetration and local presence. By selecting locations near colleges, highways, and city centers, Cane’s maximizes accessibility while adjusting store amenities—such as extended operating hours, electronic kiosks, and multilingual support—to suit local demands. Additionally, grand opening events often include charity tie-ins, reinforcing Cane’s reputation as a community-driven company.
With these seven openings, Raising Cane’s will have added more than 100 restaurants across the country so far in 2025, further on its path towards becoming a top chicken finger franchise. Customers can expect to hear additional announcements of growth as the brand moves towards 2,000 locations by 2030.
