Summertime and the living is peachy – fruity favorite back on the menu at beloved fast-food giant

It’s official: peach season has come around, and Chick-fil-A is introducing it in the best way possible. Beginning this week, the fast-food staple will reintroduce a seasonal treat—the Peach Milkshake. Now in its 16th year, it’s a fan-favorite dessert that many have learned to expect with the start of summer.

A peachy new twist

It’s not just a throwback this time. Chick-fil-A has a new beverage too: Peach Frosted Lemonade. It’s a twist on the classic peach taste, this time combining lemonade with vanilla soft-serve and peach purée. The new beverage was designed to “surprise and delight” clients with something different yet familiar, according to Chick-fil-A director of menu and packaging Allison Duncan.

From a family picnic in the park to a weeknight dinner at home with the family, our Peach desserts alongside our crispy Chick-n-Strips are the perfect pair to share a bite and enjoy the taste of summer,” Duncan said in the statement.

Innovation behind the scenes

You can’t see it, but a dash of technology is in every cup. Early this spring, Chick-fil-A automated its squeezing of lemons, freeing up some 10,000 hours of labor every day in its restaurants. The adjustment results in faster service and fresher lemonade for drinks like the Peach Frosted Lemonade.

Other seasonal favorites are still available

If peach isn’t your thing, don’t fret—Chick-fil-A is also rolling out its Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages from its spring menu. Island beverages are here until August 16 or while supplies last, so grab yours before they disappear. 

A growing global presence

Chick-fil-A’s peach party comes at a time of massive growth for the chain. With over 3,000 restaurants in the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, Chick-fil-A is growing internationally. The chain has already opened a restaurant in the United Kingdom this year and will open in Singapore later in 2025.
