Hey there! If you’re someone who loves a good bargain and gets a little thrill from scoring a designer brand for way less than full price (don’t we all?), then you’ll want to hear this: Ross Dress for Less is opening 10 brand-new stores across the U.S. in just a few weeks!

While many big-name retailers are closing their doors for good, Ross is going in the opposite direction—opening up shop and growing rapidly. The big day? Starting July 19, shoppers in states such as California, New York, and New Mexico will have a new Ross location in their neighborhood.

Why is Ross expanding now?

Ross Stores CEO Jim Conroy says it’s all about giving people what they want—value and convenience.

“Consumers are looking for value and convenience more than ever, and we’re excited to continue to bring those qualities to the community,” Conroy shared.

And honestly, he’s right. With prices going up everywhere, stores like Ross are more important than ever.

Here’s a quick look at the new Ross locations:

📍 California

  • San Francisco: A second location is coming to Market Street. Ross will also donate to the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco.
  • Anaheim: A huge 25,000-square-foot store is opening at the Euclid Shopping Center.

📍 Minnesota

  • Woodbury
  • Savage: Locals are buzzing already. One shopper said, “Omg, I’m so excited! I loved Ross in Hawaii!”

📍 Michigan

  • Adrian: Two stores are coming soon, with donations headed to the Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee.

📍 New York & New Jersey

  • Hempstead, NY
  • West Long Branch, NJ
  • Brick, NJ: That’s three new Ross stores in the tri-state area!

📍 New Mexico

📍 Tennessee

  • Nashville: A 22,000-square-foot store is landing at the South Plaza Shopping Center.

Job seekers, listen up!

Each new Ross location is expected to hire between 55 and 90 employees. That means both full-time and part-time job openings, so if you’re job hunting, this could be your moment!

And guess what? This is just the beginning.

Back in March, Ross opened 16 stores and 3 dd’s DISCOUNTS in 14 different states. They’re clearly on a roll. Executive VP Richard Lietz said they’re expanding in both new and current markets—especially in places like Connecticut, Georgia, Texas, and California.

So yeah, while other stores are shutting down, Ross is thriving—and bringing the deals right to your neighborhood.

Keep an eye out for grand opening dates, and maybe even be one of the first in line. You never know what gems you’ll find in those aisles!
